What's up guys. New to the board, but not new to following SMU football since watching it have to come back from what the NCAA pulled. I can't say that I know a ton about the history of SMU football (I live in Tennessee) but I've followed and pulled for the Mustangs from afar to get back on the right track. This season is showing that it's happening and I want to say congratulations.
Just to tie it all in, I got interested even more in SMU football when you guys made the mistake of hiring a coach from my alma mater years ago. I can't wait to see where/who SMU plays in their first bowl game since the Reagan administration, and can't wait even more to see you win it, and continue to build towards doing every year what TCU/Boise St. are doing this year.

You must be subjected to five simple entry questions for expectance.

#1 Mustangs or Pony’s?
#2 Will you join the Mustang Club?
#3 Will you come to home games?
#4 Will you travel to away games?
#5 what is your favorite libation?

If your answer to questions 3, 4 and 5 are no- I suggest the Horned Toads.

Nashville, Tn. ok your in! Welcome. :D

Welcome and I would guess Middle Tenn State and Coach Cavan. Is that correct?

Nice that you are interested enough to join this board. It will be fun and I hope that you do choose to travel to Dallas for a game. Come on by the Boulevard to the BUS STOP #36 and meet some fellow Mustang Fans.

If you want to join the Mustang Club PM me. You can do it for as little at 50 dollars.

Dallas is buzzing and I guess so is Tenneessee.

SMU will play in Hawaii Bowl and opponent will be Nevada or Fresno State pending results after Saturday. Boise State still has slim BCS hopes and if not BCS will probably play in the Idaho Bowl and will probably not opt for Hawaii.

I hope we don't have to play Nevada..they are so dangerous with three (3) 1,000 yard runners. If we had trouble with Marshall, we will really have to bow up for the Wolfpack. But maybe by then we will have healed up on our D line.

Cavan coached at Valdosta State and E. Tennessee State before coming to SMU
