To see Jones and the way the players responded to him during the senior walk was special. He is special and not only wins games but teaches those guys about life. You could see the respect and love they already have for their coach after his short tenure at SMU. I hope we can keep him for more than 7 years.

The senior walk was a neat change from seasons past. Allowing the fans down on the field with the team was a great way to end this great season. SO SO SO freakin' happy that we are going to a bowl game. It feels fantastic.

Imagine how loud and crowded the field is going to be for the Senior Walk in years to come!

I cried as I hugged those close to me in the stands. Emotions are welling up as 25 years of work, fundraising, cheering, and yes frushtration is lifted from my mind.

It feels great to be a Mustang today.

Stayed on the Boulevard until 7 with a few groups at the corner of Bishop and Binkley.

They are melting the Cavan and Bennett statues as we speak so that the JJ statue can be case and placed next to Doak Walker.

I deeply appreciated the ovation for the seniors and the peruna handlers tonight by the crowd. It does help those who give their all feel appreciated. Let's just see if the band goes. No word today on that front. ... Today is not the day to start that fight up.

speaking of the band, it appeared that a substantial number of members are graduating. Are there replacements in the wings?
