How can Bennett think that Tate can do any better? Sacked on his second play.

my guess is that this is for Phillips' benefit so he can get some coaching during the game. sometimes helps to watch. question is whether Phillips runs two series to Wallis' one, or will they get equal time?

Given how sorry of a QB Tate Wallis is, can't imagine that Phillips can learn much from watching him.

How supportive.

I imagine Phillips will watch for a series or two, then get back out there, now that he's had a chance to see what a live defense looks like.

Hmm. Gotta love this coaching clinic they're putting on today.

Way to use Phillips.

Being a parent of a player (in another program), I would have mixed emotions on playing a freshman. I think it would have been wiser to save him. Redshirting between active seasons won't help him or anyone esle.

Why is Wallis still in? Give Phillips the ball and let's see what he can do. He needs these games to get some experience. Cmon Bennett. Please put him in.
