He will be in the running for it.....he will be in the top 5 for sure...next year could be his year if all the pieces work together well as we have a tougher OOC schedule that will attract more national attention. I would guess Iowa's coach or Cinci's would be the choice....and dare I say it....Patterson?

I think there is no question who should be the Coach of the Year in Confernce USA and that is June Jones. No one else could have turned this team around after back to back 1-11 seasons. I'm not going to lie there have been times mainly last year when i doubted if he could really do it, but after watching this team this year there is no question he is everything he has been made out to be. He is definately worth the 2 Mil a year in my opinion.
No as for National Coach of the Year i think he should definately be considered, but I don't think he will get it. I see it going to either Brian Kelly or Gary Patterson

National Coach should be the Temple coach.

Sumlin obviously has had a good year at Houston, but considering where we were last year, I can't imagine anyone but Coach Jones getting it. Surely nobody else deserves it.
