"The Girls" and the National Anthem
Posted: Mon Nov 30, 2009 7:59 pmWhen the National Anthem is played, everyone in the stadium faces, quite properly, the American flag...all except those our pom pom girls who stand on the west side and face AWAY FROM THE FLAG! Even the cheerleaders on the east side know enough to face the flag in the South End Zone! Someone give those girls a clue! Smiling at the crowd with their backs to the flag ain't the way!
