The game is at 3pm. Most flights leave HNL after 9pm. So you go to the game, then head to the airport afterwards and catch your flight back. Flying on Christmas Eve/Christmas can cut your airfare by 30% or more.

United just raised their prices on DFW to HNL. That didn't last long. Hopefully some of you took advantage of that while it lasted.

Some of these fares are funky.
Dallas to ( Chicago or Minnesota ) then to LA or San Fran to Hawaii is cheaper that DFW to HNL direct.

Now, if that is the way business thinks or costs... I understand the Obama tax, bailout, cap and trade and healthcare logic.
