Stallion, please forgive me for doubting your deductive reasoning abilities. The following quote posted in the 500k question forum is absolutely spot dead on. For those of you who missed it: Stallion: I've got a feeling that the $500,000 amount includes the anticipated costs of the tickets we are going to have to eat to pay off our 10,000 ticket alottment. SMU might not be willing to fork out money for the Band etc if it faces a large deficit on ticket sales. They probably don't want to start a competing drive for Band etc until they are the hook for those tickets. So they just threw those numbers into one big amount that they need donated.
Trust me it cost between 200k and 300k to send the spirit entourage. Others had come to this conclusion. Stallion just may have to be given honorary band member status, but remember you have to wear a beanie.

Even Einstein made a miscalculation even now and then. Also, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.....

Even the great Stallion couldn't predict the Hunt factor. Remember, Hunt saved our bacon in 3 games.

Maybe, but Padron has performed FAR above expectations and is a major factor in our bowl bound status.

Wait, wait, wait...
I thought I was the genius.
Stallion doesn't think I'm a stinkin' genius anymore.

was there even 1 intelligent poster who said..."Great News, now that Padron is our QB, we are going 4-1 and are headed to a Bowl Game!!!"
I think not.
The overwhelming majority on this board did not challenge that statement because we all thought it was true. Most teams do struggle with Freshman QBs.
To bring it up as a point of ridicule only shows that you have an agenda.

Yeah, and you were predicting that we'd go to a bowl game with a Freshman QB who had a whopping 5-6 games in HS under his belt, right? Please, give me a break.

You only dislike Stallion because his 'cynicism' is usually correct. No other poster takes such abuse.

Stallion doesn't get abuse for cynicism or realism, he gets abuse because of his propensity to personally attack people.

When you make strong predictions (especially in a tone making you sound like you think you are an expert on the matter) you have to take your "you are an idiot"s along with your "I told you so"s.
