No matter where I am or what I'm doing. I have my Mustang shirt on for Saturday. Although, my wife and I had a little girl this June and we brought her to all of the home games. She had to wait only a few months to see her Mustangs go to a bowl. Kids have it so easy. Also she was born in June, June's name is June....so there you go. :D

The one thing i have to have every game is my royal blue SMU adidas hat. And after we squeaked by SFA I also gave up on the tie and khakis. The rest of the year I kept the button down white, but went to wranglers and boots every game day.

I also have my gameday red & blue Mustangs shoes. And yes, mrydel, I just got them this year. 5-2 record so far when the shoes are in attendance.

It used to be that if I left Ford Stadium absolutely disgusted in the 4th quarter, the team would miraculously mount a comeback and my friends would laugh at me:

2006 vs UAB, 22-9 win (we scored 15 points in the 4th)
2009 vs SFA, 31-21 win (we scored 17 points in the 4th to erase a 23-14 SFA lead)

But now it appears I only need to be in Ford Stadium for the Mustangs to win and don't have to leave at all. The only game this year I was unable to attend was the Navy game and obviously, since I am a very substantial contributor in total causation going on in the universe, my absence was undoubtably the cause of SMU's only home loss. Sorry everyone, we still got to 7 wins...

*I also have a red and a blue SMU shirt and I'm trying to figure out if there is a correlation for SMU winning road games when I wear one shirt vs the other. I'm still working that out. So far, blue shirt on road games is bad.

I drop a small picture of the opposing team's coach or logo into the toilet and let fly. We may not win, but I feel better.
