For those of you coming in early the O'Neill surf meet is on at the North Shore. Today's forecast 20 to 30 foot waves, expecting to get larger during the weekend due to a storm front coming to the north shore.

you tube video of the North shore Banzai Pipeline, a must see site for those visiting the North Shore. The North Shore is a single lane divided highway, slow traffic, lots of locals and tourists gawking at the waves from their cars, so plan ahead and allow lots of time for driving. Lots of thieves, so always keep your valuables out of view even if you are nearby, less than 5 secs to get in and out of your car, grab and run. Locked cars are not an obstacle, they punched out your door locks rather easily or simply smash your car windows if no one is nearby
