The Mustang Band has it's half time shows from '59 to '84 preserved from 16mm (and 3/4" video) to digital format. When the band had extra film, the photographer would let the spoon run out and film the football team. In the 1959 SMU v Baylor game, we have footage of Don Meredith running a goal line option and scoring. Absolutely amazing.
