Attention OU fans, you can now take the gun out of your mouth.... the talk radio to our north has been non-stop Stoops-ND talk the last 3 weeks, even though it didnt seem like it was ever a real possibility

Classy move. Kelly is supposed to let his team know before the end of the year banquet tonight. Should make for a nice evening up here in Cinci.

Big East could be a powerhouse if the coaches would stay.

What's the word on whether Kelly will coach Cinci in the BCS Bowl game? I mean, geez, it's not like his team is going to the Chopped Liver Bowl or something. Will he skip it to start the ND program assembly stuff? Seems pretty sleezy. If he does coach in it, will ND get pissy with him? To me, if you're in a position like Kelly to go to a BCS bowl, the classy thing to do is to wait 'til the bowl game is over before you even discuss the situation. [See JJ to SMU] Kelly looks like an eager beaver [deleted]. Like a guy who has just won the lottery and leaves his wife and kids to move to Vegas to take up with a porn star.

Wasn't there a pro golfer who just did something like this? I can't think his name but he was named after some kind of a cat.

Kelly is in a "catch 22" for sure.....he needs to start working on the kids that have committed to ND and some of them are really good....i am sure other schools have been hammering those kids that had already committed to ND saying "hell they don't even have a coach"....he can't be two places at once and his future is now at ND....ya wonder too how awkward it might be for the Bearcat players especially the non-seniors practicing and gameday for a coach they know is already gone.....yeah June did it because June had the upper hand....SMU needed June worse than he needed them....not sure if Kelly could do that with ND and make them wait.

Word up here is that he probably won't coach the Sugar Bowl.

I read on ESPN he will not be coaching in the bowl and their OC will be. Hope they dont pull a West Virginia and hire the interim coach if they win.

I dont think ND would let Kelly wait till after the bowl. While they may let him coach in it, and I hope he does, finishing the recruiting season strong for your new team is too important.

With Kelly not coaching in the bowl game and the OC taking over interim head coaching duties, I wonder if he is going to permanantly get that gig?
