Let's be sure that "trip to Hawaii" is included in any list of Hawaii Bowl gifts.
Just remember, ECU will be freezing their butts off in Memphis. Wow. Sounds like fun.

Agree with ender. im pretty sure these kids are going to enjoy being in hawaii much more than a cheap logo watch or a laptop sleeve while they walk around some bunk city.

We got a t-shirt, straw cowboy hat and a Citzen watch (with the days in English and Italian). We also got a small can of WD-40 (Guess they couldn't afford KY). The gifts are nice but the experience is worth far more.

They're conference champs - again.... and honored C-USA's contract.

An Aloha Shirt is *much* more expensive than a t-shirt. There may also be more gifts that are not listed.
I think that the NCAA allows the bowls to provide up to $500 worth of gifts to each player and the schools are allowed to spend $350 per player. I'm curious as to what SMU will be giving their players...Hawaii Bowl ring?

I think his point was that we shouldn't complain about the cheap gifts, because for the players, staying in Hawaii is far better than Memphis in the winter time

The Student Union at the Galleria has t-shirts. Unfortunately, the helmets are the wrong color.

And you are absolutely correct. I didn't know how to respond to that remark without taking this thread completely off track. Thanks.
