Just got home from the Katy-New Braunfels 5A semi-final

A defensive struggle with a lot of hard hitting. Katy survived 14-6, but needed a few lucky bounces and the aid of officiating to prevail.

I came by the board to tell you that SMU fans are going to LOVE John Bordano! It hurt just watching some of those hits he made today!

Anyone who was there in person who was objective would say the officiating was one sided. Then to take away the tying TD by New Braunfels on a holding call when the flag was thrown late was ridiculous. Katy is good, but did not need the officials aiding them all day. Katy has been accused of paying officials in the past.

I have seen Bordano play 3 times this year. Yes, he will help us. Really hope we RS him and get him a year older and bigger, then unleash him on the field.
