Sanders / Jackson from Eagles

DeSean Jackson - I know Sanders isn't nearly as dynamic as Jackson but seems to have about the same size. This guy is amazing. Does Sanders have anywhere near his speed? Love to see Sanders be a under the radar type guy in the NFL.

DJ has elite speed, like 4.3 40 time...I think Sanders is like 4.4...Also, DJ wasn't really under the radar like ES would be, but I think ES has a real shot at sticking at the next level.

I just looked it up - DJ was a 2nd round from California. This guy is one of those wild cards - anything can happen when he touches the ball. I think the Cowboys could have gotten DJ w/ the 2nd pick.

this is not a knock on ES, but DJ was projected at times to go in the first round... he's one of the best college receivers ive seen in a long time. way more impressive than crabtree... he's just tiny

There were no WRs selected in the 1st round of that 2008 draft....then a big run on them in the 2nd round....10 WRs were selected, DJ being #7.

Plenty of teams made a mistake on that one.

never said he was... said he was at time projected to be one

Jackson's explosiveness as a receiver and return specialist should make him a very attractive prospect in the top half of the first round

Jackson was definitely a stud coming out of college. No offense to ES, but Jackson is a level above.

ExPony,

Not disputing what you said, he was considered 1st round talent by many...simply stating the fact that a lot of NFL teams wanted WRs and yet 6 passed on DJ in the 2nd round. Go Figure.

Maybe the same thing, to a different degree of course, will occur with ES. Some may regret not taking him in the mid rounds.

cbs sports had ES has the 27th ranked WR and projected to go in the 7th round. A good combine would change that and you never know, maybe someone will take a chance on that in 5 or 6.
