Put yourself in Vic's shoes guys. SMU is home, sure, but Florida State is a mecca of college football.
If it is true, I'm definitely happy for him. Also, look at some of coach Jones' assistants.. he'll bring in good blood.

Vic has done a great job here at SMU as a player and as a coach. Growing up he was one of my favortie players. Id hate to see him leave, but I wish him the best.

SMU has to do EVERYTHING possible to keep Vic.
He is fantastic with the squad and a vital piece to what the Mustangs are trying to do.
A must to have.

You're an integral part of the growth of the SMU program (not just football, either).
I want what's best for you and your family, but as far as I'm concerned, you're one of the all-time great Mustangs.
