Craig James may run for Senate

Postby Dooby » Fri Dec 18, 2009 2:44 pm

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I've been hearing this for a few weeks now. Didn't want to post in case it was still way underground. I know some folks who have already started the basic fund raising for his Senate campaign.

He's a smart dude; articulate; has a ton of connections in Texas and Nationally.

If anyone could, I guess he'd have the most pull.

James seems like a good person, why would he want to lower himself to that level? He has good thing going with TV and a lot less headaches.

I'd vote for Obama ahead of Craig James...that guy is a bozo and it has absolutely nothing to do with his SMU affiliation.

What qualifies him to be my Senator? I mean, yes that was a nice run on the fake punt in the 1980 Holiday Bowl, but we lost the game after all.

On a side note, what ever happened to his son who played for Celina last year? Did he sign anywhere or as a walk-on?

James' experience at SMU has uniquely qualified him for political office: We all know he can take an illegal kickback. A lot of times, you can't tell if a Freshman Senator will have that kind of moxy.

Great answer. He's got my vote, if not my dollar.

All kidding aside, I can truly see this opponent making the SMU death penalty scandal a political issue in the race. Can't wait to bring that back into the forefront of Texan's minds.

From what I've heard, his camp is preparing responses to those very questions and issues for when they arise. Should be interesting to hear what he has to say, not just about that but about what he thinks he can get done in DC.

That's the older son. The younger son, I believe, is not playing college ball. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
