I don't think so. Blvd.Fan goes to ridiculous lengths to defend Bo. Check out this post:

I believe JJ will play the QB he thinks gives us the best chance to win. Looks like he's confident with KP. Go Ponies.

This one ranks in there with Biggin two years ago saying there was no way we would hire June

I disagree. The hiring of June Jones was unexpected. As SMU had tolerated the poor coaching of Bennett for so many years, it was expected that he would be replaced with another unproven general. June Jones went against everything SMU had done for years.

BM's performances were consistently poor, while Padron demonstrated promise and courage on the field.

Whereas Biggin made a prediction that was consistent with SMU's past coaching philosophy, Blvd.Fan's suggestion that BM is the greater warrior goes against a year and a half of evidence to the contrary. Biggin's prediction was wrong, but Blvd.Fan's ability to cling to a BM and claim him greater than Padron is far worse. May Blvd.Fan always remind SMU's loyal of the great quarterback BM who was only given a mere 18 contests to prove himself.

True, but Bo is still a part of this team and he handled the situation with great class-which should be admired. He is only a Sophmore this year. We may need him in the future. I think we sometimes expect too much out of young players-of course, Padron was incredible but developing a football team takes constant improvement and development of players over their careers. Guys like Taylor Thompson, Darius Johnson, Marquis Frazier Jagared Davis are just starting to scratch the surface of their potential. You know you have a strong football program when you stop expecting miracles from freshman and instead see 2nd or 3rd year guys who have been riding the bench turn into All-Conference players. That's what TCU has done for a decade. I see no reason that Bo can't make a solid contribution to this team in the future-he is entitled to some of the appreciation for the improvement in this years team too.
