The team loaded up their busses and were on the road to DFW-Airport at EXACTLY 8 a.m. this morning. A small handful of Mustangs supporters and some players' parents were there to see them off. Here are some pics! GO MUSTANGS! BEAT NEVADA!

Actually, that's Mark Finn this time. Alex left his 'head' in the car!

Several TV station camera crews were there this morning, too. Mark Finn was interviewed by Ch. 33 and it may air during tonight's newscast or tomorrow night during their sports program at 9:30 p.m. Not sure which other stations were there. They all interviewed JJ inside Ford Stadium before departure.

I was there too, but managed to duck out of 65's camera range. :) I thought for sure there would be more fans there. At least some of us showed and with the great signs that Mark brought we were able to give the team a bit of a send off and show our appreciation for the season they gave us.

I was the only person at the airport in Huntington when the SW jet landed and the guys left with the sheriff escort on the bus. It was kinda kewl.

Unfortunately, a pep rally probably would have been poorly attended by the team and the student body because of finals this week. And the campus is deserted because students have gone home for the holiday break.
