The Luau was pretty cool. Great food, with a Hawaiian band performing in front of the ocean. After dinner, the teams were entertained by a show that included a wannabe Vegas-style singer/host (think Don Ho meets Wayne Newton), a four-piece band and island dancers and a "fire dancer."

Pre-dinner dancers included Shawnbrey McNeal, Chris Banjo, Bennie Thomas and Josh LeRibeus. After dinner, a number of SMU players were lured to the stage by hula dancers, although the star attraction might have been defensive coordinator Tom Mason ... who was on stage just a couple of hours after insisting "there's no way I'm getting up there."

Said the great ThadFilms: "he looked like he has done that before, but Chris Banjo clearly looked like he has been practicing."
