When Did Phil Bennett start coaching the RedskinsDid anyone catch the MNF game with the Giants last night, when the Redskins tried their version of the swinging gate, or lonesome polecat at the end of the first half? Ended with an interception thrown by the punter. I started throwing things at the TV set on that one. What a pitiful game.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: When Did Phil Bennett start coaching the RedskinsThought the same thing. However, I think what Zorn tried last night rivaled most special teams stupidity I have ever seen at SMU.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: When Did Phil Bennett start coaching the RedskinsThat game was great to watch.

As if you should expect anything good to come from the Redskins? I love seeing failure from them. Everyone likes to bash Jerry but Daniel Snyder is much worse of an owner than him. At least he finally got some brains and canned Vinny Cerato. Maybe Bruce Allen can do something, if he lets him.
Re: When Did Phil Bennett start coaching the RedskinsThe swinging gate was one thing, that thing that the Redskins did was completely bizarre. Not sure even Coach Bennett would have tried it.
Re: When Did Phil Bennett start coaching the RedskinsEspecially after they tried some weird version of the swinging gate, only to see it stifled when Tom Coughlin called timeout .... and then they tried another version of a Swinging Fake Punt/Throw Lob crap. I drew up better plays in fifth grade. Whoever called that was lucky to get out of the stadium with a job.
Re: When Did Phil Bennett start coaching the Redskins
I'm a Redskins fan, and even I have to agree with that. One prediction for you - whatever high draft pick they end up with after having yet another crappy year, will be traded by Dan Snyder for a washed up former pro-bowler whose best years are way behind him.
