It has to help fans and the team. Constantly hearing the SMU band was really, really great. The 12th player in this. It made the game better a better for me. Thanks, I am glad you folks went with the team.

No question the band was music to my ears...redundant I know, but I remember so many drives and yelling until my voice was shot for several days. The band keeps the fans in the game. Last night my daughter said I sounded "crazed," I told her that's what 25 years of frustration will do to a person. I thought the band sounded great with the jazzy fill-in material as well.

SMU sending the band and pep squad was a class act. I only wish the camera man showed the band once in a while. They keep showing this hot SMU blond fan with some sort of pom pom in the stands.

Anyway, I predict the band gets more members next year. Another dividend for a winning bowl bound football team.

Sitting in snowy Chicago with my son, also a SMU grad, we were struck by how often and magnificent the sound of Peruna became. The band delivered an audio backdrop that was terrific.

I am sure in person is was even better.

On every SMU highlight shown on ESPN this morning the band is clearly playing loud. You can't say that about any other team so far on any of the other bowl highlights they are showing. This made the game have more atmosphere since it lacked the fan base. Great job done by the band all year!
