Thanks to the LEC!!

So as I sat down to watch the Emerald Bowl...USC vs Boston College, they listed the USC players who are out because they are academically ineligible. As some one that used the Learning Enhancement Center, I know how helpful they are to the entire athletic program. Dr. Vicki Hill and her staff do a great job, which I think is evident in the fact we did not have any players ineligible for the bowl game (please let me know if I am wrong here).

Hey they can't catch them all, but kudo's to the LEC! At least one (OL) slipped through and didn't make the trip because of grades...check rivals. But we must be certain that some made the trip through the massive efforts of the LEC. McNeal was on the edge as we all know, but he pulled through and we have to be thankful that he made it and there may have been others as the SMU program is tough, but it was so cool to see Emanual Sanders for one, and 5 others ( including my son) on the stage Saturday graduating from the great SMU!

It was very cool.....ES was so proud and know that his family was as well! Thats what makes it all so worthwhile, as we all know its not easy, especially for athletes with all the time they spend on the program.Good for them!

I saw the pictures of the graduation, and sae ES and some of our other graduates. Congrats to all of them, and their families!

Vicki's been there a while, hasn't she? I swear I interacted with her back in my undergrad days in the late '80s. Guess it could have been early to mid 90s when I was in grad school.
