OT:This one's for PattonJust finished watching the replay of the Hawai'i Bowl for the second time. I'm stoked. Now I am packing to head to the Rose Bowl, so this week I'm rooting for the Ducks. Most of my best friends are Ducks, so that pretty much makes me a Duck when I'm not pulling for the Mustangs. This has been a great bowl season. Now for the second round. The trifecta is next week for Bama. Here's a little musical inspiration West Coast style as the Ducks prepare to feast on Buckeye pie.

Re: OT:This one's for PattonBump...Patton, Gen. George Patton...Bueler...
Re: OT:This one's for PattonEnjoy the Rose Bowl. I really hope one day I can get out there for it. Love watching the Tournament of Roses Parade especially when the Big Ten representative marches. Great stuff.
Nothing like the San Gabriel Mountains used as a backdrop and when dusk comes how the sun beams on them. Congratulations Wisconsin! Go Minnesota! Go Ohio State! Go Michigan State! Go Iowa! Go Penn State Go Northwestern!
Re: OT:This one's for PattonI will have a drink in your honor! I haven't been to the Rose Bowl since the 70's and am looking forward to it. Happy New Year Patton! The game should be a nail biter.

Re: OT:This one's for PattonMake it a Vodka (Ketel 1) tonic with a lime and we're good. Think the key for the game is how much the Ohio State linebackers can get the Oregon QB to stay in the pocket and not extend plays.
The shocking thing is that Ohio State hasn't been there since 1997 and Oregone since 1995, so some fresh blood in there. Good for the tradition of college football's greatest bowl game. Travel safe.
Re: OT:This one's for PattonI was at the Standford/Oregon game. All OSU has to do is watch the tape. I just don't know whether the speed thing of U of O will be too much. Tough one to call. Andrew Luck is an incredible talent for Stanford.
Re: OT:This one's for PattonI think the Big Ten can match up with most conference in speed in the skill positions. The problem comes with speed at linebacker where those guys cannot cut off lanes or get to the perimeter so RBs can't break one down the sideline.
We'll see. With Prior nursing a knee injury and the fact that I think he has played well below expectations, I would favor Oregon. The Ohio State offense has just not been consistent enough to really make anyone feel like it's a threat.
