Apparently, one of the Tech message board posters decided it was acceptable to go off on a Tech player because he supported Adam James.

Even at our worst we've never touched the classlessness going on at the tech boards. Hopefully they'll either hire some kind of run-oriented coach allowing us to win against them next year, or they'll hire Houston's coach and eliminate the competition for conference realignment.

It is soo much worse than that. I have seen Craig james address listed, supposedly his phone number an dpictures of his daughter, where a number of posters made fun of her.
You stay classy, Lubbock.

this really didn't have a thing to do with the James-it had to do with two stubborn sons of [deleted] Mike Leach and Gerald Myers and his supporters on the B of T who have been in a power struggle for a decade. Both let what should have been a minor reprimand situation that was PRIVATELY handled through proper channels by the James escalate into a power struggle meanwhile tarnishing the reputation of a 20 year old kid. Everybody involved in this fiasco should be fired-they need to clean house. The public should never have even known of the existence of the situation. If it hadn't been Adam James it would have someone else. It was an inevitable trainwreck as certain as a dusty West Texas duststorm

Couch'em, loved the 4-1 comment by the way.

It truly is astounding. The Tech trash fans on RaiderPower are actually turning on the team players, calling them names and degrading them because they have come out against Leach. I can't imagine this happening anywhere else...

I agree. I made this same sort of comment on another thread. This isnt James' fault like all the Tech fans are making it out to be. It is the AD's fault. He shouldnt have handled it the way he did. He and Leach obviously had a problem last year during the whole contract extension fiasco. Sucks for Adam that it is all being taken out on him by the angry fans. The TT administration obviously wanted to get rid of Leach, and especially before they owed him 800 k. They just used Adams situation as their scapegoat to do so. And in doing so may have destroyed his whole family's reputation.
