oh look this had very little to do with Adam Leach but rather a much larger, long running feud and power struggle. I'm shocked-way to ruin a kids reputation because he had a diagnosed medical condition

Sad that the Tech fans only blame Adam.

"Texas Tech's decision to deal in lies and fabricate a story which led to my firing, includes, but is not limited by, the animosity remaining from last year's contract negotiations. I will not tolerate such retaliatory action; additionally, we will pursue all available legal remedies."

The entire Tech AD department needs to get fired. They ruined not only the James' reputation but Leach's too the way this was handled. When that was not the real reason at all why this happened!

I know Leach should have handled it differently but they still didnt need to go about it the way they did because they really hurt his reputation. Like I said before they just used James as a scapegoat to finally get rid of him since he and the Tech administration obviously had a problem stemming from last year.

i ithink i have used the word scapegoat in 3 different threads now. So this will be the last time

Not as word about Adam or Craig. Guess they have figured out that they are past character assassination. My guess is Leach and his legal team know there is nothing more to gain by attacking the messenger.

Sounds like a pretty disfunctional system up there.

the sooner Tech and Leach can negotiate his final severance and "move on" the better for all concerned in this mess.

The issue remains Leach's incredulous manner that he was called to task, and fired for actions that he allegedly admitted to the leadership at TTU.

Arrogance befits a fool.

Leach is coming off like a bitter [deleted]. He might as well sue for all it's worth now, because he won't be getting another high paying coaching job anytime soon.

And as far as animosity stemming from the contract negotiations, if the admin had animosity during those, why in God's name did they give him a 5 year extension?

Can we give the entire Texas Panhandle to Oklahoma, because their seems to be a large lack of intelligence out there.

Leach used a whole bunch of words to say "liar liar pants on fire" and/or "everything those guys are saying is bullshxt"

Not very original.

I cant say I'm familiar with the phrase "deal in lies"...and he uses it twice.

If Leach is supposed to be so smart (lawyer, etc.), why does he always sound like a moron when he speaks?
