There is no way in hell JJ goes to TTU. There's a beeter chance of Barry Switzer or Jimmy Johnson going there.

I am hammered. But my guess is. They pull a West Virginia in 07. They win big in their bowl with Ruffin and then they decide to hire him . Kind of like WV did with their interim coach when they beat OU.

They'd like to get Briles, but I'm sure they can afford him or Sumlin, especially with the potential of a payout to Leach from a lawsuit over their heads.

The word I am hearing is that a deal with Jones is imminent. There is one contingency that has to still be worked out. Jones is insisting that the team be lead onto the field by actual "Raiders" and a deal is being negotiated to get John Madden to ride out on the field on the back of Al Davis. An anonomous sources quote Davis as saying "help".

I would think June Jones appears on this list more as a result of some Tech types acknowledging what he has done — so far — at SMU. I don't suppose he would have an interest. Just can't see that man living in Lubbock, no matter how sweet the offer is.
