i would love to see SMU face missouri during the regular season but not in a bowl game... the bowl games are only meaningful if you win, or are playing against a great program... Nevada was perfect this year because SMU got to showcase their potent offense on national television, that type of publicity mixed with winning the Hawaii Bowl is going to pay huge dividends in terms of recruiting. One thing you may also want to consider, with Leach being fired there is no one on that staff who can command that offense like he could so theyre going to have to either drop the offense or run the offense at like 60%... Over nnight SMU has become the premiere RnS type offense in the nation and in Texas. JJ if he isnt already should be contacting all the TTU offensive recruits and give them offers...
