The conference had a poor showing at best. ECU should have won. The other three loses were embarassing. The conference appeared weak this year. Hopefully that will change next year.

How much longer can CUSA look this poor in bowl games before some of the bowl tie-ins move elsewhere (like Mtn West)? I realize that they have contracts for the next couple years, but it makes you wonder.

Looks like a pretty good case could be made to replace the Pac 10 with the Mountain West.

Be careful not to place too much importance on just one year. Let's compare the conference bowl records from the last two seasons:
2008-09:
PAC 10 5-0
SEC 6-2
Big East 4-2
C-USA 4-2
Big 12 4-3
MWC 3-2
Sun Belt 1-1
Indy 1-1
ACC 4-6
WAC 1-4
Big Ten 1-6
MAC 0-5
2009-10:
MWC 4-0
Indy 1-0
Sun Belt 1-0
Big East 4-2
Big 12 4-3
SEC 5-4
ACC 3-3
Big Ten 3-3
C-USA 2-4
WAC 1-2
Pac-10 2-5
MAC 0-4
After TCU destroys Boise tonight, the WAC will be 1-3, giving that conference only 2 bowl victories in as many years. I'm not sure that CUSA isn't starting to look like a better conference than the WAC at this point, and based on the last two years, CUSA is definitely performing better than the MAC, who are 0-9 in that stretch. Regardless, 2008-09 was a much better showing for the conference.

He can correct me but I would think that is the late Ponylb, father of Ponyte.
