Except for Texas Tech

We were nearly the only Texas team to win their bowl game. Tech won their game although was a lot closer than ours. So proud of our boys! Go Mustangs!!!

Make no mistake, Texas Tech was one of the biggest losers of the bowl season, regardless of the outcome of their game last night.
Conversation with my wife last night:
Wife: So if Texas loses, does that mean SMU is the only Texas team to win its bowl game?
Me: No-Texas Tech.
Wife: They don't count.
I am so proud of her.

The Texas schools that went to bowls should all be proud of their seasons. SMU's was an unexpected phenomenon. UT and TCU were both undefeated and ranked in the top 4. And if UT had invested one scholarship in one more QB over the last 3 years, well, who knows? When was the last time that happened? Houston won the CUSA west and TTU had a solid season with a strong bowl win. A$M showed that they can take a lot of folks to a bowl game and present an energy filled first few minutes of a game.
Thought he bowl wins weren't there, the Texas schools had a great year all in all.
