So what exactly is Urban Meyer doing?

Is he the head coach?
Is this guy Addazio really doing anything?
Is Meyer on leave?
Will Meyer be back this fall? (My money is on that one)
Did Meyer overreact?
This is such a tricked up story. I want to believe Meyer and that he's trying to get his priorities in order. But these stories are really not helping gain the sympathy vote.

My contention has been that he is retired, and all the backtracking has been because they were losing recruits. He will quietly step aside some time after Feb. (But that is just wild speculation on my part)
Either way, Lane Kiffin has to be eating this up. He will be able to negatively recruit against Florida for years if Meyer stays now--"why would you go to Florida? your coach will probably quit again in six months--he may not even be healthy enough to make it through the season."

Several Florida recruits were quoted to the effect that Meyer had informed them he would be back in August to start practice and the season.
