maybe it was the next Tech head coach because it wont look as bad if he gets beat by a top 25 SMU team next September?

The ESPN 2010 top 25 has TCU at 7 and Navy at 25. Our nonconference will be a little tougher next year than it was this year, and we lost 3 of 4 last year. Hopefully we can handle WSU (if they stay on the schedule) next year.

Does Boise's Peterson have a vote? After seeing what SMU did to Nevada, he could have been the one.

Isn't there a site that reveals how they voted?

We want those guys ranked high to help out with our BCS bowl chances. Upset a new coach at TT and beat WSU and TCU at home then watch out. For those of you who are new, I said the same thing last year to the naysayers except for us to overcome heartbreaking losses to WSU and Navy and then beat a good ECU team and overcome the QB at the time getting injured with Padron's performance was way beyond anyone's expectations. Why not SMU! The death penalty demons are gone. Fill Ford Field! Let the good times roll! Nothing but red, white and blue in the stands this year.

I can see why Nevada would be ranked 7 spots higher given how close they played us.
