These people are a disgrace to SMU: Tyler Bell, "SMU ALUMNI" (apparently it takes several people to get up the courage to hide behind an anonymous name), and "Justin." There is no need to bash our players and our mascot in front of a national audience.

If had I to put how I feel about SMU and SMU football in a nutshell Tyler Bell's assesment would be dead on. That being said I think it was very a-holish of them to put their messages on a website like ESPN. I was going to put my comments on ESPN but I knew better.

I would love to see "Justin" take peruna out for a little strut across the field. I'm sure he'd reconsider how "pitiful" peruna is once the horse drags his sorry arse across the field.

As a close friend of Tyler I think yall are over reaciting and actually pretty judgemental. Let see what Tyler did so wrong? He has attended every home game this year from start to finsih with me, went to Baylor with me, and did I mention we went to the entire SJSU game? Oh thats right he isn't a pony fan, and I gues I am not either, since last year I compared our team to the Bengals on the Bottom 10 on espn.com! Tyler stated what most people feel, and he and I love SMU football more than 99% of the people around. I think when we are doing as bad as we are we might as well have a lil fun with it, and we can't get much more bad press. If we win, there won't be anymore statements about our miserable team, but until then me and Tyler will just keep going to games (start to finish and wherever they are!!!)...

Oh boy...here I am, The Infamous Tyler Bell. I am a student and a bigger fan of SMU football than you ever will be MustangStealth. At least I have the guts to publicly bash the mustangs instead of secluding my feelings on an SMU-run web site. $30,000 a year to see a football team that would probably compete with De La Salle High School is pathetic. Where's the money going to...Phil's pocket, and I'm sick of it. ESPN.com is giving SMU more press than we deserve....you should be happy a-holes like me post my thoughts on our team. My goal was to turn some heads...uh oh, I think I may have.

My god. First of all Mustang1965...to be a true fan does not mean sitting by my computer all day posting messages on a SMU fan site, however sadly I find myself doing that very thing as of late. I was told that some SMU alums were talking s**t about my posting on ESPN, wouldn't you defend yourself?? AND I REALIZE IT IS NOT RUN BY SMU, however SMU fans run it...so I consider it to be "SMU-run" thanks for trying to clear that up for me though. You'd only pray to have a son like me who actually cares about a program even when "the going gets tough." You make me sick.
