Pair of SMU Southwest Conference Championship Rings

1982 Cotton Bowl Ring and 1984 Aloha Bowl Ring

Set of 2 SMU Championship Rings. The 1982 Southwest Conference Championship Cotton Bowl Ring and the 1984 Aloha Bowl in which the Mustangs defeated Notre Dame 27-20. This is rare find of two championship rings, both are 10k gold, the Cotton Bowl Ring has a red backing and 9 cz chips surrounding a golden SMU mustang. One side features SMU in a banner over the SWC(Southwest Conference Logo) which has a small state of Texas above the "W", and the teams record of 11-0-1 below. The other side shows the name Collins above a SMU helmet (featuring the Mustang) and Cotton Bowl written under. The second ring has a blue football backing with a gold SMU mustang, top reading SWC Champions and Football 1984 below, each side of the face of the ring has three blue stones. The left side of the ring has the name Collins above a running SMU mustang and their record of 10-2. The right side of the ring has the team name "Mustangs" above a SMU football helmet feature the mustang.

That's too bad and something this inidividual will probably regret 5-10-15 years from now...but, these are tough times and cash is king..

That's a shame and wish I could buy them and donate them back to that player but they would probably just put them back up on E-Bay anyway....

Wonder if it isn't a pawn shop or a collector selling them. Based off some of the items that I see listed for the seller, I'm willing to wager that the seller isn't the original owner.
