Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCUESPN looking into moving SMU/TCU Game in Dallas to Friday September 9, 2010 for National Television (several subsequent posters state that 9/09/10 is actually a Thursday-less time to prepare for Run and Shoot-I kinda of like it. Also TCU has a tough Game with Oregon St on the Saturday before)

Re: Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCUwell, there goes the Blvd if it's on Thursday night. They'll open it at what, 5 for a 7:30 game?
Hope we come back from Tech healthy. And I hope something good happens the first two weeks. To go from 0-0 to 0-2 in 5 days would really suck.
Re: Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCUThat is badass if true. SMU vs. TCU should be the premiere non BCS matchup every season.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCUThat would be awesome! This rivalry needs to gain national attention. Good for both teams!
Re: Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCUI think they would have to open the BLVD earlier than that. Then again, would they really make me pack up my stuff if I got there at 3?
Derail the Frogs!
Re: Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCUThis isnt good for them. TCU would be coming off a short week against Oregon State at Jerry World. I would want to see them coming off a full weeks rest and preparation.
Re: Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCU
Sounds like fun and winning at TT would be a great start and the TCU game would mean so much more and Ford would be rocking....but correct, going 0-2 would not bode well.
Re: Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCUThis is actually the Thursday night game...
The sole export of Chuck Norris is pain
Re: Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCU
What time did they open it for the Halloween game against UAB a few years ago? If my memory serves me correctly, the Blvd. was open fairly early. The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney? Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.
Re: Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCU
SMU would be playing at Texas Tech on Sept. 4 so both teams have to deal with a short schedule.

They have to clear the students out and make everyone move their cars. I wonder where you'd park?

Heck, we have a tough game with TTech the Saturday before. "We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown

Re: Report on Frog Forum-ESPN to Televise SMU/TCUI got a strong feeling this is really going to be a Friday Nite game which I prefer. I know ESPN contractually guranteed the ACC and other BCS conferences a big number of Thursday Nite games at least last year. Could be different in 2010 but look at the 2009 Thursday Nite schedule which is dominated by BCS schools-in fact each and every game except Boise St. v. Oregon involved a BCS conference home team. And the Boise home game was really a late nite second bill on a Thursday Nite doubleheader over Labor Day weekend
