They show Padron 4-2 as a starter. W's vs Tulsa, UTEP, Tulane, Rice, Nevada...loss to Marshall. Try 5-1.

And they allege a "QB controversy." Another writer who has no idea whatsoever what went on in CUSA.

That just shows you how these writers think of the non-bcs-BS members. They're too lazy to do their homework but it doesn't matter, they're probably thinking that they'll never compete for the national championship so who cares??? (sarcasm but I'm sure there is a lot of truth in it)

AND THEY'RE RIGHT UNTIL THE CARTEL IS DONE AWAY WITH!!

Skip Holtz Coach of the Year?

If SMU was the "Biggest Surprise" with an 8-5 record, it seems someone must have done a helluva job of coaching?

same web site but under the Big East it reads:

Defensive coordinator of the year: Phil Bennett, Pittsburgh. Behind a standout line, Pittsburgh was 17th in the nation in rush defense and 19th in total defense. Developing talent like DE Greg Romeus enabled Pitt to lead the nation in sacks.
