The Domino Effect

It seems like most of the larger schools except Louisville are not taking offense or defensive coordinators but other schools head coaches. Hence we have a domino effect like I have never seen because it is so close to signing day and they have to get a coach quick to preserve the recruiting class. Now Duke and East Carolina are on the clock and to make matters worse they are in the same state.

the 'game' has gotten too competitive. fans don't want an assistant "project" coach. they want a head coach. and now that we've had a little success, i feel the same way. IF for some reason we were to lose JJ to another program, i would not want or be satisfied with a DC or OC from somewhere.

That's why Orsini for better or worse, likes to pick a previous Head Coach who hopefully has been successful somewhere else...we picked a successful DC like Bennet who didn't work out as a HC but he kicks [deleted] as a DC...ie. Pitt and Kansas State....
