If we were to hire any ex tech coaches would any of there Top 20 recruiting class come too?

I say hire Bert Hill for strength and conditioning coach then if Ruffin is not hired by ECU geet him if we can for DL coach. He is a very good recruiter.

He would be a good addition however I think I would rather have Jerry Glanville if JJ could get him to come here.

We already have a Great Defensive Coaching staff. Tom Mason and his Coaches are Awesome ! SMU just needs more depth for the future.

Good for him but very interesting choice. If you are Tuberville would you want an excoach looking over your shoulder all of the time? Also, he may be a 'planned backup' in case Tuberville doesn't pan out in a year or two. :roll:

pass. 1) he was just fired by TT, no way he takes that job 2) he has proven himself as a D co-ordinator 3) has proven his ability to coach a team with a a lot of distractions 4) he is a football coach

It does keep the money coming in while you look for something else, AAD money is better than no meney.

Kliff Kingsbury did not follow Holgerson to OSU as expected but has gone from graduate assistant to a full time position yet to be designated at Houston. Still have openings for Offensive and Defensive Coordinators which might just be filled with former TT assistants.
