How bout them CowboysMaybe not
Re: How bout them CowboysFavre is a good "front runner". Thanks to Vikes' defense, Cowboys could never put Favre in position to play from behind and force things (throw the clutch INTs his career has been marked by). Might have been an interesting game if the Cowboys kicker had given them an early lead and hit those FGs he missed.
Should be an interesting championship game to see which Favre shows up. As Troy just said "it's amazing that Favre has thrown more than one INT in only one game this year". This may be the best team he's ever played on.
Re: How bout them CowboysRoy Williams has to be one of the worst acquisitions in the history of football. Zero catches...you have to be kidding me.
Re: How bout them Cowboys
Williams, Flozell Adams and Romo need to go. [deleted] Dang Sweet Perunatang!
Re: How bout them Cowboys
I don't disagree with you, but all three will be back. Each has too many years and too many dollars remaining on his contract.
Re: How bout them CowboysBesides, Jerry J's ego is far too big to admit that he blew a bunch of money on his mistakes. Maybe some of those Cboy fans with decide not to throw their money at Jerry's palace and come to some SMU games instead.

Re: How bout them CowboysFire Wade (please). Hire Cowher (immediately). Draft Shawnbrey (why not?). Then, figure out what you're gonna do with Romo. He was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL today and we have seen this act before. I've had it with the guy. I'm ready to blow it up.

Re: How bout them Cowboys
How about instead of wasting a pick on RB that would spend more time on the scout team than on the field, they go out and find an Offensive Lineman that they can develop. I won't hate on Adams because he was hurt and didn't play most of the game. The line didn't do it's job. Minnesota just wanted it more. 6 sacks and at least one fumble due to Witten missing his blocking assignment, the team just didn't show up.
Re: How bout them CowboysRomo had no chance to make a play, you can't blame him. He was pressured almost every single play. Vikings defense was on fire with great schemes. They seemed to know what plays were coming and stuffed the O-Line all game.
Fire the kicker...geez. Might have given them a little bit of confidence to get back in the game. The D didn't play as well as they have been. Vikings just the better team today. They might put it to the Saints, will be a good game next week.
Re: How bout them Cowboys
This is amazing to me. 1. Wade might be a boring interview, but the man knows football and had this team playing as well as anyone in the league down the stretch. 2. Cowher wouldn't touch any job that involved putting up with Jerry's act. 3. I'd love to see McNeal make it in the NFL, especially where we can see him on TV every week, but Dallas already has three good RBs. Absolutely zero chance they draft one this year (and that's even with Jerry the Idiot playing Fantasy League GM). 4. Romo was pretty good down the stretch, too — nothing like he was in December in years past. He was getting killed out there today. 5. Blow it up? Are you kidding? This team is a couple of young backup OLs and a capable WR or two from being as good as its record. This is not a team that needs to be blown up — just a little tweaking here and there. And I hate the Cowboys. I hope they go 0-16 every year. But this "blow it up" talk is insane.
Re: How bout them CowboysI told everyone all year that Romo is a walking turnover. All he does is to get your hopes up and then bring them crashing to the ground. I would rather lose with Kitna.
Re: How bout them CowboysI'm not a big Romo fan, but you can't blame him for losing that game. It all comes down to O-line performance. Couldn't stop Vikings from getting to Romo.
"I think Couchem is right."
