Something June said about East Carolina...

Postby smusic 00 » Thu Jan 21, 2010 11:57 am

Hope I'm not breaking the luncheon rule etiquette, but in a response to a question about next year, Coach mentioned that we will not be playing East Carolina next year. Anyone know for sure what our East Division opponents are?

yes we will play East Carolina-unless the Conference changes its rules. 2 years against 1/2 of CUSA East Home/Away then you shift to the other half.

Based on his response I would say he has not looked at next year's conference schedule, because he was wrong about who we play.

Sounds like he's too busy right now hanging in Fort Worthless with the Botox Queen and the geldings to know what's going on next fall.

I predict that we will play ECU twice next year.

If the band or peruna can be forced into a conversation, Diamond Girl will find a way.

For someone who claims to be made out of diamonds, you should simply donate more money to SMU and lead the athletic department in a manner you see fit.

Looking forward to the trip to Greenville, NC this fall. Based on the two year rotation with the East Division, which is still the rule according to the conf USA web site, this will be our only away game against an East Division team. Play both Marshall and UAB at home.

Tulane
ECU
Rice
UTEP

am I forgetting any conference road trips? Looks like I'll be at all except maybe ECU

ECU is a great atmosphere for football...ugly town, but great fans and tailgate. Drive an hour south and come visit me at the beach in Wilmington!!!
