You have been pretty vehement on your defense of James and his son during this affair. I wanted to share this with you. it's a little wordy and technical, but Im actually curious on your take on the story and/or your refutation of it.

I'll say it's wordy. Man, that guy outwrote the Burger Wars thread to analyze as to whether all the sandaggies that called in to [deleted] about how ESPN dogged Leach during the game had a point or not. Next I'd like this guy to invest some time analyzing the pony vs big horse debate.

I saw it and am burned out on it especially the media aspect. Everybody wants to take the statements of witnesses and believe what they want based on the witnesses they prefer. Its not necessarily the truth if not stated under oath. I've been over at the Tech board a lot and it boils down to this. A player with a diagnosed concussion was punished by his head coach. A complaint was registered with the university which had every reason for investigating the complaint. The medical staff at Tech reported that Leach's treatment was not medically appropriate and it fact violates provisions in his contract concerning the public treatment of student athletes which he has repeatedly disregarded this year- I can think of at least 4 incidents. Leach didn't deal constructively or seriously with the disciplinary process -which I think would have ended everything even BEFORE he was suspended and it became public. He was fired because they were just tired of putting up his [deleted]. What I think may have ruined his future career prospects is that instead of dealing constructively with the university he decided to unleash all of his supporters and the entire fan base of a state university to trash the reputation of a student athlete. That is LOW CLASS-that could have been dealt with appropriately in confidential disciplinary procedures. EVERYBODY knows this has little to do with Adam James and EVERYTHING to do with the relationship between Leach and Texas Tech.- the James a just a sideshow

Those of us who watch the game in Lubbottock may die if the ponies win with the amount of anti-SMU/James hate there.

Exactly. It's real - like it or not. They're not listening.

Stallion not only hit the proverbial nail on the head, he drilled that sucker through concrete.
If only the craniums of blindly supportive Tech fans weren't so difficult to penetrate. I predict that as Leach continues to drag this out, and he will because he's pathologically contentious and has nothing better to do, his Tech supporters will start falling off the bandwagon.
Fans generally cheer for the uniform, not the person wearing it. Once Tuberville wins a few games, especially if the Leach v. TT legal drama continues into football season, Tech fans will get as tired of his act as the university administration apparently was.

I agree. Now, is SMU going to take Peruna or the two Mustangs to Lubbock?
Of course, I am just kidding..........
