Re: Chat with Morestead's Saints about Super Bowl berthAsk him if he talks to defensive lineman about mechanical engineering
Re: Chat with Morestead's Saints about Super Bowl berthAsk him if he lobbied Payton for the drop kick with 1 second to go in the game. I would have loved to see him knock it through!

Lol that's a good one. Ask him if he still says "there it is" after each punt.
Re: Chat with Morestead's Saints about Super Bowl berthSeriously, a series of questions I have for him is: Does he ever practice kicking field goals? Would he back up Hartley or ever be expected to go in over Hartley to kick a long field goal?
The reason I ask is this: I was at the game when Hartley missed the FG against the Bucs to basically lose the game. To me, Hartley is not very good, and I have no confidence in him (despite the fact that he came thru last night). During last night's game, on 4th down in OT, I kept wondering whether, if I were Sean Payton and knowing what I know about Morestead, I might send him out there to try an extremely long field goal. I noticed that during pre-game warm-ups during one of the Saints games I went to, Morestead was drop kicking balls from the 40 yard line through the goal posts. I want to say I've also witnessed him practice a kick off that went thru the goal posts. Geaux MUSTANGS! Geaux Tigers!
Re: Chat with Morestead's Saints about Super Bowl berthAt least at the beginning of the season they told him specifically not to kick FGs and to concentrate on his punting. Hopefully as he continues to mature as a top punter, they can work him into the rotation of a back up kicker.

Re: Chat with Morestead's Saints about Super Bowl berth
It crossed my mind. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: Chat with Morestead's Saints about Super Bowl berth
Does he really do that? If so, pure awesomeness. If not, it's going to go through my mind everytime I see him kick now. Derail the Frogs!
