Something tells me SMU better get Doc Holiday this year because the way he is recruiting it will be really tough after that.

Just heard back from a friend who covers Clemson. He said he hadn't heard that Korn definitely is leaving CU, but here's his response:
"He struggled with injuries at Clemson and then they essentially out-recruited him at the quarterback position.
If Marshall is running the no-huddle spread zone/read, Korn could be a good fit."

Korn is expecting to graduate this year and will enroll somewhere as a grad student. He will be eligible right away provided the grad program he enrolls in is not offered by Clemson. Marshall is being mentioned as a likely place, but I haven't heard what course of study he will pursue.

Korn was a stud in HS and played with a great team. he got hurt early at Clemson and it just never panned out for him there, but the kid worked hard and will graduate in 3 yrs, so he's making the most of his "opportunity". I haven't seen what graduate program he has elected, but I think this was more about his wanting to prove he can play at the FBS level (and not having to sit out a year) than thinking about his future profession...at least from what I've read locally.
I do think he will help Marshall and that he will start for them next year.
