Really nice story about SMU alum Thomas Morstead — a definite must-watch.

Not only is this just a great story on it s own, but remember that we are heavily recruiting La at this time and it certainly does not hurt to have SMU being talked about in the Super Bowl conversation.

That is a phenomenal story, everytime I hear about Frank Ganz I am always impressed with the impact he has on the folks that play for him.

Wow indeed!
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Same here. It shows how special a man he was if he had that kind of an impact on Morstead when he only got to coach him for 1 year. Great stuff!

that was great. it really says something, not just about how great Frank Ganz was, but what is going on at the coaching level at SMU. things are really changing.

I am still finding it difficult to really get my head around it after so many disappointing years. Even after the amazing season we just had, I WANT to be excited, but keep finding that I don't think it's real and don't believe it will happen again. but things like this really give me a warm feeling inside about the Mustangs & SMU.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
