I read the smu report. I know it said that our entrance requirements have not changes, but did anyone else read it as I did? I seems like if someone is questionable or even has poor SAT and poor GPA, they will really look at them. "They will look at other info in their file" I think is what it said. That is a good thing. If the entrance committee allows athletics 4-5 great athletes a year that are borderline, or less, that would be awesome, and what we need.

Agreed. Frankly, I don't care if we boast a team with the highest GPA in the nation. Not every player is going to graduate. We all wish they would, but folks don't turn out to watch linebackers and tailbacks pick up their diplomas. Make it so great athletes can qualify, and we can at least compete for their services.
