What a difference a year makes

Postby PonyPride » Sun Feb 07, 2010 3:07 am

I ran into Jordan Favreau a couple of days ago. He looks a lot bigger than a year ago, which is normal for a freshman lineman, but I asked him how much bigger he is than a year ago at this time.

He said when he signed with SMU, he was about 230 pounds. Now ... 279.

I realize I'm a writer trying to do math, but 49 pounds in one year?!?!?

Part of that is just the normal growth of a teenager growing into his frame, but weight gain like that also is indicative of someone who has been working extremely hard in the weight room — very encouraging.
