KC Chiefs Release LB Justin Rogers

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Monday that the club has released LBs Weston Dacusand Justin Rogers.

Dacus spent the 2009 season on injured reserve with Kansas City. He saw duty in eight games for the Chiefs in 2008 after joining the club as a rookie free agent from Arkansas. Rogers played in one contest for Kansas City in 2009. The SMU product played in 31 contests with Dallas (2007-08) before joining the Chiefs.

Justin IS a great Pony. Hope he gets another opportunity to play.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

He has another year on his contract, I think (read somewhere that he got a two-year deal. I know NFL contracts aren't guaranteed, but if KC doesn't bring him back, he still gets some of the last year, right? Hope so.

That sucks. Hope they pick him back up, or another team does. He's one of my all-time favorites.

I know. When "that's great raplh" has to use more than two words, he seems to have problems getting his thoughts out there in the same form they were in in his mind. 8)
