He sent a couple of his players our way in recent years including Fred Turner? Turner actually transferred back from Pitt (I think it was) to play for SMU. Glad I got to meet him one time.

Turner didn't transfer back-he signed with SMU out of high school.

nope had few offers until a late season playoff run.
