Some recent AECOM university projects that are particularly applicable to UH's quest to modernize or replace a football stadium that opened in 1942 and a basketball arena that debuted in 1969:
• Gerald J. Ford Stadium, the 32,000-seat(expandable to 45,000) home of the SMU Mustangs. Opened in 2000, Ford Stadium cost $42 million and has nearly 600 preferred club-level seats, 240 seats in 24 luxury suites and a three-level press box.

Interesting tidbit from the article:

Once AECOM completes the study, UH officials will review the options. Rhoades will present a proposal to the UH board of regents, with the first impending deadline being Jan. 2, 2011. If UH doesn't break ground on a stadium project by that date, the $600,000 buyout clause in football coach Kevin Sumlin's contract drops $100,000

I wonder if JJ has a similar clause regarding the IPF.
