We discussed it before -it was reported that it was supposed to be a Thursday Nite game- I surmised it might actually be a Friday Nite game instead because every ESPN Thursday Nite game involved only BCS teams last year except for a second doubleheader game involving Boise St and a BCS team Oregon. I'd bet Friday Nite.

I would much prefer we keep it to saturday, but its SMU v. TCU and ESPN... dates no longer matter as long as they are on TV.

I haven't made it to a game at SMU since 2001. Is a sellout a real possibility/likely? How has the breakdown of frog to pony fans been in the past and what do you expect the breakdown to be this upcoming year? Thanks.

Someone just forge a letter from whoever is kicking all these frats off campus threatening them if they don't show up, in full force, in SMU gear, to the game. ALL game.

Only thing about a Fri. night game is none of the HS prospects would be able to see it.

They can see the highlights on SportsCenter or DVR it. That may hold more water for some of these young guys than seeing a game in person. This assumes we don't get blown out, if we did it might be best they couldn't watch it in person or live.
