By far one of the top performers
WR's
2nd best 40 yard dash - 4.41
5th best vertical - 39.5 inches
1st in the broad jump - 10'6
2nd in the 3 cone drill - 6.6
thats a heck of a work out. normally guys excel at one or two things. he showed his ability for speed, quickness, and a ridiculous vertical. he is moving up the draft board QUICKLY!

It'd be interesting to see if he could sneak in to the tail end of day 1 of the draft. You have to think his stock is continuing to rise.

He was clutch for the team, good to see clutch at the combine for himself.

honestly if he has a good pro day at smu i wouldnt be surprised to see him get drafted on day one... those numbers are ridiculous (who says PB couldnt recognize a diamond in the rough....)
honestly Emmanuel has the attributes to be an immediate impact player in the NFL. I would love to see the cowboys pick him up. If he works hard theres no reason he shouldnt succeed

Those are some really impressive numbers!
Hard to believe a 39.5-inch vertical is only good for fifth-best, though.
With the new three-day format for the draft, isn't Day 1 dedicated solely to the first round? If so, our man isn't going on Day 1.

Are they really dragging the draft out to 3 days? Oh good Lord. Anyway, I'm thinking he could sneak in late in the 3rd round....whatever the hell day that is.

Regarding and SMU Pro Day, i saw earlier that ours was scheduled for the same day as Hawai'i's, but now I can't find a date for it.
Is it still on?

I have a 42" verticle jump, but I do mine from a table top downward.

One analysis:
WR Emmanuel Sanders, SMU (5' 11" 186 lbs): Some thought he was a system receiver in June Jones' pass happy offense, he finished 2009 ranked 7th in the NCAA with 1,339 yards and 7 TDs. Now we know he can run also to go along with his production. He ran an very nice 4.41 forty at the 2010 NFL Scouting Combine. Sanders was also 2nd fastest of all the receivers in the 3-cone drill with a time of 6.60 seconds.
